A Community of Support and Friendship for Single Mothers
NEESIE is a unique concept which provides supportive friendships and help for single mothers. Many circumstances bring a single mother to experience basic needs beyond the capabilities of her life to solve. NEESIE aims to care for those whose physical and emotional resources are absent. Single mothers and their children wake up to these realities daily and many have inadequate support structures.

Empowering Single Mothers & Children for a Brighter Future
We provide dedicated support to individuals with the hopes, skills, and resources necessary to build an economically and emotionally stable home environment through sustainable programs. The provision of services shall be for the benefit of single mothers and their children up to the age of 16, with a focus on addressing key social issues such as mental health, youth leadership, racial justice, and poverty alleviation. Our services will cover:
Partnerships and Service Delivery
To work in partnership with a range of service providers and agencies to develop and deliver culturally appropriate services, which meet their health, social, and educational needs, including a special focus on mental health and well-being.
Mental Health and Well-being
To provide resources, support, and programmes specifically addressing the mental health and emotional well-being of service users, ensuring access to counselling, therapy, and peer support networks to reduce stigma and promote positive mental health.
Youth Leadership Development
To support young people, particularly those from single-parent families, with leadership development opportunities, mentorship programmes, and life skills training that empower them to become agents of change in their communities and develop critical thinking, resilience, and self-confidence.
Advocacy for Racial Justice and Anti-Discrimination
To actively advocate for racial justice and equality, addressing systemic discrimination, Islamophobia, and all forms of prejudice. We will support initiatives that challenge racial inequality and promote inclusion and fairness for single mothers and their children, regardless of race, ethnicity, or faith.
Supporting Health Inequalities
To work with local and national health agencies to combat health inequalities by advocating for equal access to healthcare services, particularly focusing on mental health, chronic conditions, and access to preventative care.
Poverty Alleviation
To develop programmes aimed at poverty alleviation, providing financial literacy, job readiness training, and access to resources that support economic independence and financial security.
Monitoring and Advocacy
To monitor health and social care services both locally and nationally, and to publish these results in an accessible format that empowers the community to make informed decisions, advocate for their needs, and push for systemic changes to support their well-being.
Research on Health, Social, and Economic Needs
To promote research on the health, social, economic, and leadership needs, with a particular emphasis on marginalised communities, which will influence the delivery of services and advocacy efforts to reduce health and economic disparities.
Promoting Social Justice
To advocate for social policies that address systemic inequality, including but not limited to racial justice, gender equity, and addressing the intersectional challenges, particularly those from minority backgrounds or living in poverty.
